Default I'm in ketosis!!

WOOOO!!!
Sounds like a 'normal' thing for some but I actually tried it for over two months before ever seeing one of those damn sticks turning pink. And today it turned pink!! I'm happy, it took a load of time but I got it finally.

Congratulations! It takes some people 3-4 months and some people 12 hours, I think! Way to go!

wow! As a nurse, I think of ketosis as a bad thing...but I guess as long as you're not diabetic, it's ok. Ketoacidosis can be very dangerous for diabetics...that's when sugars get up above 500....do dieters routinely check for ketosis?

On the MRC diet, I'll be tested twice weekly for it, when I go in for the weigh-in. Also, because of the family history of Diabetes, I have a blood glucose monitor for myself, just to be extra cautious.
