I stopped drinking soda, and now I generally drink more than 100 ounces of water/day. I do have coffee in the a.m, and decaf at lunch.

I have JUST started and I HATE plain water. I am trying to get in at least 4.5 bottles a day. Adding CL has helped, so i may just stick with that.

Harris, what do you drink then??

I used to drink about a gallon a day, but since I've been home and not as much on schedule, I have a hard time. Now I probably get just about 64 oz.

Harris, it sounds odd, but drinking either hot or lukewarm water may be easier on your stomach if it is making you feel nauseated.

JacobnJalynsMommy: if you like lemon, i will often squeeze in half a fresh lemon in my glass of water. it's very refreshing, esp on a hot day, and the lemon is good for you too. Another idea is herbal teas. peppermint or chamomile are good flavors without the caffeine.
hibiscus flowers can sometimes be found at a natural foods store and it makes a really good iced herbal tea. and is a source of vitamin C too.

I second the lemon! I love a good glass of ice water with lemon. At first I couldn't stand just plan water so I would add CL. Then I discovered I like lemon or even orange slices in my water. Last month my dietician told me the aspartame in the CL and flavor packs I was drinking would flare up my fibromyalgia. I was actually having a horrible flare up and thought it was worth a shot. I stopped drinking them and started feeling better by the end of the first week. I bought a britta water pictcher to use at home because I hate the chlorine taste from my tap water. Works amazing. I also did a search on aspartame because I wanted to know WHY it was so bad for me. Apparently it builds up to toxic levels in the brain making you feel bad.

Now all I drink is water. In the past 3 weeks I have only had water plain sometimes I add lemon, most of the time I don't, and 1 diet pepsi and 1 diet coke. I am so proud of myself!

I keep a 32 ounce cup on my desk and go through it 2 1/2 to 3 times a day. Plus water at lunch and water at dinner time also.
