I am super excited I am officially down 25 pounds! I am ready to lose the next 20 now
I just started a 12 exercise and diet program. I went through my first week and I am down 1.8 pounds. I am going to list my weight here each week!

Yeah!! Doing a little dance for you! Are you going to reward yourself with anything? It seems each five lbs is such a scrabble - 25 pounds is soooo sooo awesome and you sound so motivated I know the next goal will be made before you know it. Can't wait for more postings!

Thanks bobblefrog! I am giving myself gifts, little things every ten pounds. Once I hit my 140 goal I am buying some fantastic new clothes!

Okay I can't believe it! I am down 16.7 pounds from my last check in!!! I lost 24.3 pounds in 12 weeks on the OPT plan! I just want to dance and go crazy!!!

I am taking a 2 week break to let my body rest, I can't believe I only have 18 more pounds until my goal weight. I need to post up pictures. I am going to try to do it this week. I was so embarrassed to put them up at first because I felt so fat and ugly. I am actually starting to feel sexy.

I really appreciate all of you being so nice and helpful, it really does help when you do well, and you know someone, that doesn't know you, is proud of you.

I read this amazing book a couple a weeks ago, there was a story about a woman who was an amazing giving wife and mother. She got pregnant her first year of college so she dropped out with the intension of going back when her kids where older.

She never had the time to go back because of this and that. Finally when was 54 she told her husband she wanted to go back to school, but said wouldn't finish until she was 60 if she took classes part time.

Her husband said "You'll be 60 either way, might as well have a degree"

I think this is the kind of mind frame we need to be in to get this done. I remember when I started I was thinking it is going to take me a year or so to finish. So what, a year is going to pass either way.

I have lost 47 pounds in about 6 months, there were ups and downs, but I did it and look where I am now...18 pounds from my goal.

Thanks to all of you for reading this.

Congratulations Amber E!

You have worked hard and stuck to your plan! I admire your discipline and committment. And you give me hope. I looked at that 24lbs in 12 weeks--and I said to myself, I want her plan!--and then I realised I am already doing it on my own plan, lol!

I'm curious though why you think it will take a year to lose your last 18 lbs?
