At the bottom right of their msg is a little "quote" icon. Click on that and it drops it into a reply box.

What is the difference between the "Reply with quotes" button and the "Multi-quote this message" button?

If you reply with quotes, you can quote just the text in that message.

If you click the multiquote button next to several posts then hit the normal Reply button, it automatically quotes all that you clicked as I just did
