Default It really WAS just water! Yay!!!

So, last week was TOM for me. I only have about 3/year, & this was the first one since re-starting my healthy way of eating after Christmas, so I am not at all familiar with my body's fluctuations around this time. So when the scale shot up by SIX POUNDS (esp. since I'd given in to a horrible TOM-related Chinese food & ice cream craving), I was HORRIFIED. I kept telling myself, it has to be water, it has to be water, ithastobewater!!!!! I'm not sure I believed it, though. But my TOM ended yesterday, & sure enough, this morning I am back down those 6 pounds plus .2 lbs more! WHEW!!!

TOM & Chinese Food - now THAT's a water-logged combination if I've ever heard one.

So glad those pounds have *washed* away. What a relief for you! Yay!!!!!

I hear ya....TOM is so frustrating for me too! I get crazy cravings, plus my weight will go up 7-10 pounds! Even though it drops back down every time, it's still so discouraging. Sometimes I forget that it's going to be TOM and I get really upset and think that I actually did gain the weight....then my little friend shows up and I realize.

I just love Chinese food, but with the bloating that comes with it, I sometimes think that is just isn't worth it.

Glad it worked out for you! Whew!!
