Default It's been a long time..........

It's been close to 2 years since I have been active on this board. A lot has happend in the past 2 years that has forever changed me. I lost my beloved Gram, March 5th 2009 to a long battle with cancer. I was her care taker the whole time she was sick.I know that I have to carry one and I am now at a place where I need to take care of me. My weight has been an issuse for me with having PCOS, Hypothyroidism , anxiety and depression. I have decided that now is the time to start over again and to actualy lose some serious weight. I just need some butt-kicks along the way.
Any support, advice would be great.
~Jenn

I'm sorry about your grams! That had to be really hard on you, but now is YOUR time. We all know you can do it!

Hi Janelle, welcome back. I'm very sorry to hear about your loss, but I think your Grandma would want you to get healthy for yourself now. Jump on with both feet and hold on for dear life, you are about to take an awesome ride. (Though it can be bumpy I'm finding out.)

Hey Jenn, welcome back, this site as you know will support you through this journey. I had some hard years too, lost my dad to cancer, marital separation, etc. I found that exercise kicked me out of a depression that I hit, they say it's better then prozac and I've never tried those meds but I'm thinking it's true. Also the practice of positive thinking, maybe doing some yoga and relaxation as well as your cardio and weight training? Take care and best wishes...
