I'm so excited and proud of myself today. I was worried because I have to go to a birthday party tonight, which is nerve-racking enough calorie wise because of cake, but it is also held in a fast food restaurant (Wendy's). But I was crunching the numbers and I can have my favorite large salad Mandarin chicken salad without chicken AND a piece of cake, and it totally fits into my day with 300 calories left over! The salad is 460 calories and the cake around 239, but my lunch was only 375 and it leaves a mid-day banana too. The total calories are only 1184.
I'm very excited that I'm responsible enough to look everything up before hand and budget everything I want into my day.
