hey I was finally able to locate a 4 mile video, it was at Target. It has the 4 mile and the walk&jog. So I will be starting off March right! My goal for March is 50 miles. I am trying to walk everyday with some being outside, track and video. Then I will add in biking, which I am aiming for 100 miles and weights.

After a bad February, I am off to a GOOD start for March! I've done the 5K With a Twist and 1 mile on the treadmill today! I'm aiming for 30 miles of formal fitness walking this month. And hopefully, the weather will allow at least some of them to be outdoors!

Hi everyone! I just started the WATP in February and I love it! I have gone from holding my couch down to walking 6-9 miles daily! I just found this thread and I am ready to go for March! Yeah!

I just finished 7 miles today. My son, who's almost 9, did the 2-mile with me. I lost over 70 pounds almost 2 years ago, with no exercise. Have gained back most of it and am ready to lose it the healthy way and this WATP is a huge part of it. I do the 3-mile, then the 1-mile and save one of the other WATP dvd's for my kids to do with me when they want. Usually it's the 2-mile. This is my favorite thread and thank heaven's for Leslie Sansone!

How are you all able to find the time to do so many miles? Or energy? Maybe I'm a wimp.

I am home quite a bit now. I was taking care of an elderly man until he passed away last year. I am really just motivated to lose weight and become healthier. I have to say I tried 3 diets already this year and they bombed (or I did)...I have only lost weight once in my life-2years ago. I have cut back on my calories and am just trying to eat and live healthier. Honestly, these last few months have been so trying. Without these dvd's, I'd have done nothing as usual. I thought I would have a large increase in hunger, but it's just the opposite. This has brought some balance into my life. And I'm enjoying ever minute of it. Sorry for the long post, I just feel like a new person!

Well, congratulations! I'm glad you found this and they are working for you. We all certainly need to like what we're doing. Good luck! you can do it! I hope I can get up to that many miles.

Recently I was given 2 WATP dvds'. I don't exercise and have back/hip problems.
I did the 1 mi dvd last week and was only able to do 1/2 of the mile. Whew!
My legs were so crampy by that time and I couldnt' keep up the pace.
I'm hoping it will get easier.

Thank you, Ursula. Oh2BeMe, it does get easier. I feel for you having those back and hip problems. It's hard to do anything much less exercise when you are in pain. It will get easier, just take your time. That is not a wimpy mile!!

I've been trying to do the WATP 3 mile every day. Is it just me or does Leslie start to get really annoying. I really love the workout but I start getting aggrivated with the scripted lines and fake laughter.

evie: 5K With a Twist is brand new. Basically, it's a 3 mile with 2 minutes of "boosted walking" at the end of each mile and then an extra long cool-down to get 3.1 miles (5K). I really enjoyed it, even though I do fast walking instead of the jogging. She also has Walk This Way, which is a gentler 2 mile, and The Big Burn, which also has boosted walking. I got them in a package deal through Woman's Day magazine for $9.95 each with FREE shipping. I think that deal is still going on through the end of the month. PM me if you want the web address (can't remember it right now, since I'm at work).
