Tonight it'll be shiritake noodles (weird things!) with stir fried beef, broccoli and red pepper. I'll go easy on the soy sauce so I won't be whining about water weight tomorrow.

mmk, girls. What's the deal with shiritake noodles? I've seen mention of them many times here but haven't seen them. The foodie in me is intrigued and wants to try them.

L: homemade mini cheese pizza w/side salad

I get my shiritake noodles in a Korean grocery store. They are very inexpensive and a little pouch does my for two meals. Very bland though, no need to cook them just rinse them under hot water. No cal. no carbs. no sugar.

Today was a bad day - one of the worst this year. My aunt passed away from complications from Type 1 diabetes, working with difficult people and pressures from work. I cried this morning, had a cookie during lunch and a bag of M&Ms this afternoon.

breakfast: 2 hard boiled eggs, 2 cup fruit cuts, cheese wedge
lunch: 2 oz pork loin and 2 cups steamed greens
snack: cheese, cookie, M&Ms
Dinner: 2 oz pulled pork, pancit (chicken, veggie and mung bean noodle stirfry)
~2000 cals
