BAH

As a calorie counter I HATE fast food. It is so ridiculous the number of calories they seem to be able to stuff into meals!

Even a kids Happy Meal has 700 calories! If you were to make the items on your own at home, the nutritional value and the difference in calories is astouding.

lol thanks! It's the mood I'm in now, so I thought it would be best to reflect it and I just like this pic of me and my brother. lol

hot- I know! It's so crazy, but I thought it was cool that they had the "healthier" alternatives.

Which is why I totally HEART subway but stopped eating it because of the HUGE amount of sodium I found that they had. Like...1000 for a 6 inch turkey!

They have good ideas in that article, but it somehow makes the whole "fast-food" ideal fizzle out when you have to remember all the things that you should be doing to cut HUNDREDS of calories.

And then you find that you could have done a much better job at home that would have tasted better, been more satisfying, and considerably cheaper.

.... i haven't had fast food in a long while because of this. lol

btw, HWGA, LOVE the pic. too cute.

Interesting. Its simple really - avoid anything fried and opt for grilled. Omit sauces, cheese, mayo and choose salad or veggie sides over fries or potatoes etc
