I have a few friends addicted to wii fit. I really want to try it out to see if it lives up to the hype they've given it.

My son has the Wii fit, which I bought for a few of his games. I found a few threads on Wii fit, so I asked my oldest son to help me make a Mii and I was able to get in about 17 min. in before the kids (all three) took over. Now that I am set up, I will have to use it once the kids are sleep or otherwise busy. I plan to use it again later on tonight. I would like to try to complete tonight. I saw that you (jb) mentioned boxing. Is that a part of the Wii sports or wii fit? But I would be interested in a good routine to complete daily.

I'm addicted to Wii tennis...my shoulder is getting really sore!

I'd like to get the balance board but have gotten around to it yet.

OK, count me as addicted. I do an hour of either Wii Fit, or My Fitness Coach every day. We then do another hour in the evening of bowling and tennis - simulating real movements pretty well. We fly around the living room so much that I had to re-arrange the furniture to accommodate. We like some of the crazy wii remote movements with Rayman and Mario Party as well.

Wii Fit advanced boxing makes me soooooo happy.

But that damn hula hoop thing. Oy. It mocks my pain, I know it.

We got a wii for Christmas. Got rock band, dance revolution, the sports package, the fit, and a winter sports and ski package.
The ski and the fit use the balance board.
I enjoy it a lot. It is perfect for me, I would have to drive 20 minutes to the nearest town to go to a gym. I am glad to hear that some real fitness buffs enjoy it too. The strength training really works me! I prefer my yoga dvds, and go to a yoga class weekly tho.
I am doing more aerobics now, and have set up my nordic-trac to do with the runs. I don't like that you have to do more to unlock things, this might discourage some people who are already fit from enjoying the program at first.

I enjoy that you have to use it mroe to unlock things especially when u do it with someone else becasue if u unlock it before them they get determined and want to unlock that aswell. Thanks for the link also great thread.

Default Scale for Wii Balance Board

Does anyone else think that the Wii scale weighs a little heavier than other scales that they own? Is this accurate? If so, I'm super frustrated with what it's telling me in comparison to the other scales in my house. Thoughts?

I just ordered mine today (bestbuy.com has them in stock........YAY!) but if my fit says I weigh a couple pounds more than my digital I'm going to choose to believe my digital.

Have fun - you'll really like it. Just be prepared that it's a little harsh when it gives you your BMI or weight. But yah, I'm going to believe whichever scale is nicer to me.

But thats what gives u the motivation my little fat mii tuants me in my dreams i have to beat him!!!! Its harsh but nice and with the scaling i hope not because it seems like it gives you alot of information to be wrong but i would love to put that to the test.

Grats on the buy you will use it so much its well worth it IMO. My friends come over and play it also its just so addicting my friends are about to buy there own.
