Weather it is medically correct or not, I always skipped a day and got back on track. I never had any problems or anything. Hopefully someone with more knowledge will answer, but I would say skipping it once shouldn't be a problem!

There's nothing magic about starting Sunday night. You could just make Saturday your new start date.

Skipping pills increases your chance of pregnancy.

Agreed. Definitely do not skip a pill! (I say this as a student nurse, whom had an experience with a woman who got pregnant after skipping a pill in a similar situation to yours.) My advice, as others have said would be to just consider Saturday your start day and just continue like that for the next pack and so forth.

I would skip the other one too. You should be fine if you skipped but I wouldn't be having sex for a few days, just to be safe lol.

If you decide to skip a pill at the beginning of a pack, consider using a backup method for about 5 days......

I would say just continue on with the pack and call yourself a Saturday starter. ;>

That what I will do. I will skip today and take monday on monday and use a condom for 5 days.

I think I should do this because I think having the pill pack say one day and it being a different day would be hard for me considering I have been on the pill for 4 years...(and this is the first time I have EVER done this... >.<)

It's so nice to have a midwife around the (hen) house.

I started mine on thursday, but I am weird that's how my "normal" cycle flows. I would never skip a pill, I am terrified of being pregnant. Kids come in multiples naturally in my family. eeek

Taylor- HA! You crack me up. Just be careful. I couldn't handle my pack saying something different either!

Heather - I will be. I just might use condoms all this month just in case. He doesn't mind either way and I am just a tad paranoid. No twins for me yet. >.< I don't think I could stand it if my pack said a different day then it actually is. I just tried to explain to Chris what I did with my BC and he was like "I don't understand that. Condoms. Got it."

Good that he's being cool about it. Some guys can be so paranoid about that kind of thing.
