Default Spark People or the Daily Plate?

Which one of these do you like better for tracking calories?

Fitday.

If you use Spark People or the Daily Plate, keep in mind that some of the stuff input by users can be really off.

I do use the Daily Plate and Calorie King to look up restaurant stuff.

thedailyplate.com

I even bought a gold membership after I lost 75lbs using it free. I feel it's money well spent.

I to use the daily plate- I was using spark people at first but Dailyplate all the way now! I too agree you need to double check labels before you input because some times the number can be off- so read the label of what your eating and then go to daily plate and pick the one that matches the label

spark people is great for getting meal plans ideas though! I do still use it for that!

I started with FitDay but quickly switched to Daily Plate when I discovered it. It was way more user friendly for me.

I've tried the online loggers but I went back to DietPower. It's a paid program that installs on the computer. I don't know if it's the best program, but it's the one that suits me.

I use TDP and love it. I always make sure that the user content is right, though, by looking at my own packages.

I swear by The Daily Plate! I love it so much. I especially love putting restaurant foods in - before or after I go - so I can see how many calories are in the foods they have!

I used Fitday for about a year, but I was convinced to switch to daily plate. I like it, but my biggest gripe is that a lot of times it seems slow to me and now and then it's down altogether.

Another former Sparkperson using The Daily Plate here! I signed up for a Gold membership, and using the site through the Livestrong partnership, I don't have to look at those really awful ads they have on the regular site.
