Default Spiro side effects?

I have been tested for PCOS but unfortunately all the blood work came back negative. My doctor put me on Spironolactone to help with the body hair and I read that nausea is one of the side effects. Well they ain't just whistlin' dixie! I've had stomach aches and nausea since I started taking it a month and a half ago. But last night I forgot to take my spiro and I was laying in bed thinking, "Shouldn't my stomach be hurting right now?" Anyway, do you think that maybe I should take half of my pill. I'm on 100mg everyday right now. This nausea is driving me crazy.

I take it before I go to bed. The diuretic side effect does not really impact my sleep.

Hi-

I've been on Spiro for several years, and I went through some of the nausea side effects as well. It did dissapate after a few weeks, but I do continue to have issues with dizziness occasionally. I only know of one other person who has taken it; I don't know how unusual my side effects have been, but I did feel more normal after several weeks on it. I'm on a 200mg dose BTW.

Been on Spiro since 2003. Never had a side effect. I take 50 mgs twice a day and love the fact that I only shave stubble once a week.
