OT New Kitten!!!
My exroommate came and took our kitten that we adopted together away a week ago. I've been so depressed and sad
But yesterday, I adopted a wonderful little 9 week old orange domestic guy.
And he farts a lot.
He just did, and it's gross. How can this little thing make such a big smell! I've GOT to change his food! Here's a pic of my new love
We had to give him a bath cuz he had litter matted to the bottom of his paws from his cage poor guy
He likes to perch on my shoulder, he took a nice long nap there today, I'm in love!

Ahhh congratulation on your new kitty. My little kitten farts a lot too. It the food I feed him. He eats Wellness kitten formula. I think because it's so healthy that it just makes him gassy. It doesn't smell good but I'm glad I'm feeding him a food that will help him grow up strong and healthy I'm a dork but I do love my kitties

i just gave my reasonable accommodation to my apartment manager so I could get a companion animal (which has no deposit!!!) and stuff... right now I can't afford a cat or dog but I hope to by summer.

Ooooo gorgeous!
I love and absolutely adore cats
I have a tortie and white 3 year old female named Lexus who is this tiny, dainty delicate little thing (all of 4kgs)
...and then a HUGE (we are talking 8 kilos (just under 18 pounds) and growing - and he is NOT fat) 2 year old ginger male named Manny. He is actually my sisters cat but she moved to the other side of the country and her apartment doesn't allow animals so I have become his sole parent).
Congrats on your adoption! I love the bath photo lol.

awww i miss my kitty back home, she was the first love of my life, 2 stories!
When she was a kitten and i came home from work she would jump on my legs and crawl up to my shoulder, then we got her declawed in the front (i didnt want to but my mom made me if i wanted to keep her) and she tried to jump on my legs as usual, well her back ones stuck but her front paws didnt and she did a back flip off my leg, i felt so bad.
Another story, i got home late one night the first week i got her, i went to my room turned on my light and there she was on my bed sitting there looking like she was going to pass out, i swear she stayed awake waiting for me, she always used to sleep curled around my head..
aww I miss her, but i will see her again in 2 more weeks for good!
Sorry about the stories, but seeing yu kitty on your shoulder just brought them memories back, i cant believe she is 5 already!

AWWW!!! I literally squealed when I saw those pictures. My roommate just rolled her eyes. But seriously I LOVE kittens, ESPECIALLY orange ones. I've always wanted an orange kitty, I am determined to get one once I move into an apartment. Can't have them in dorms

Then they grow up to look like this spoiled rotten thing. Congrats on the new kitten. He is so adorable, I wouldn't trade my cat for anything in this world.

Awww... that kitten is so cute! I love cats and I really want one when I get to live somewhere where I can. But I don't want it to be alone all day when I have to go to work... hm... I'll have to think of something for that.

We decided on Dante. He's orange like fire, which made me think of Dante's Inferno. Not that he's hellish... but he's quite feisty!
