Default feeling really crappy and off the wagon..

so ive been sort of maintaining for a while, but i gained by like, five lbs, and its seems like everyone (i.e. my mom and aunt) is noticing. it makes me feel so crapalicious about myself.. its creating that state of mind where you're like, im already ugly and fat so might as well forget about trying at life...

UGH.

Ugh, you're not fat and ugly, you're only calling yourself that. So stop that! Seriously, you are so much more than your weight. Would you call your best girlfriend fat and ugly because she gained 5 pounds, and tell her she might as well forget about life?

Good point Julie....

So you gained 5 lbs.... LOSE IT! All it takes is one good decision to get you back on track! So do it!

Honey if your fat and ugly then I'm a train wreck. I understand that you are feeling down right now, but all it takes to change the course of your day is making the decision to feel good about yourself and sticking to it. Put some effort into how you look if you feel ugly, do your hair, do your makeup, put on some nice clothes that make you feel good. Before you know it you'll have a more positive outlook and you'll be motivated and ready to get back on that wagon.

I don't think it will be easy to feel better, unless you do something about it! You've done it before, you know you can do it. Come on girl!

Same thing happened to me once, my roommate said that I had gained a few lbs back. Agh!

It only motivated me more to loose it again.

I read somewhere that you can't get hurt by anyone uless you give them permission.... I have it written on a post it right by my computer

"Can't hurt me with out MY permission"

Basically, try not to let them bother you. I know, easier said then done, but with practice, it's helpful

We all have those days. Your roommate should learn to keep her mouth shut.. that's her failing, not yours.
Sooner or later you're gonna have to get back on the wagon, so it might as well be SOONER. Keep on truckin.
