Default Hello Everyone, Newbie over here.

Hello! I'm new around here. Isigned up long ago, but never posted until now.

My name is Josie. I am 26 married to my soulmate for 6½ years. I have a 9month old baby boy (my first baby). I enjoy crochet, cross stitching, cooking and baking. (the last one is probably not so good for losing weight!)

I really need help you guys. I have been so discouraged for so long. I just feel very overwhelmed with losing this weight. I need to lose 40+ lbs.

I have The Firm workout system. I have started that. I just get really down on myself when I cannot fully complete the whole DVD. what am I supposed to do? Just do little by little? I dunno. I am sorry for rambling. I hope to make friends here, and maybe figure out how to use this site a little better. Please pray for me, as I will be praying for all of you that I meet along the journey.

Hi! I'm Nita from Texas actually Josie if you exercise in shorter times during the day it is better for you is my understanding than all at once. I try to get a lot of protein in my diet [egg whites etc] in the mornings to get going and it makes me fuller and able to feel fuller, where it is easier for me to divide my meals up and don't eat them all at once but all during through the day. like I may fix breakfast at 7 AM and it the rest of it at 9 Am then eat dinner at 12 and then eat the rest at 3pm and then I have my hunger under control when it gets supper time and I do the same there. I always get hungry about 9 well I do eat the rest of my supper then . I allow myself 1350 calories per day, watch my fat intake , need some but not a lot. Hope this helps you and turn your menu in to someone who cares about you, that really keeps you under control and reading our Bible everyday helps me and studying First Place Bible studies. It doesn't have to be First place but anything that brings you closer to our Lord. One other thing you did not gain all this weight over night don't try to loose it to fast, 1 pound a week = 52 pounds a year is good enough. Good luck!

hi and You'll get lots of good info at 3fc. I know for me it's very hard to do exercise-just bores me to death, so I think that doing anything is better than doing nothing. Break your dvd down into manageable portions or do half then do something different later in the day. I've never been successful at working out to dvd's, so I just walk and I have to do it on the treadmill now that it's cold, but i turn on HDTV and enjoy my favorite programs while I trod away. Best wishes and keep coming back!
