I hope this isn't too political but I found this site which had a lot of interesting information about nutrition in chain restaurants. They have a link that makes it really easy to write to your state governor asking for a bill that would require fast food restaurants to simply post the calories next to each item.

After reading some of the comparisons of food like how how a Starbucks Blueberry scone has more calories than the infamous Big Mac, I thought about how many of us would have made better choices if we had the info.

While eating fast food might already not be the healthiest, at least the calorie posting would help make a better choice.

Anyhow I used the form letter to write my governor and added a small paragraph about my own weight struggles. If you are interested check it out!
