Default Water #3

So I keep starting these water threads and I have to be the worst person when it comes to drinking water. ARGH!!!

Okay I bought a gallon jug of water which is about 2/3 empty.

My goal: finish the jug between today and tomorrow THEN fill it up and start drinking at least 1/2 gallon for the next week. I'll be peeing all day for the next week but hey it is worth it if it helps the fat come off.

Jen..I know how tough it is to start drinking a ton of water again. I remember you and I did so well with our water in the past. Forcing it down for the first few days always helps me. Before I know it, am craving it and can't breathe without it. lol You can do it!

Yesterday: About 120 oz

well my water has been great. I did slack off for the week i was in TX. We did so much walking and running around that i was licky to dring 64 oz. And trust me I felt it.

Last week and the start of this week I have drank about a gallon to a gallon and a half a day. And trust me, I'm starting to like looking at the bathroom walls, lol.

Good luck everyone

Default Mind if I jump in?

The gallon thing is a good idea!

We have a water cooler in our house - we've got icky well water even with a softner - and I usally just keep refilling a 16oz sport bottle. (I get a new one every other day - don't want to start growing things in my water bottle ... LOL!)

The strange thing about water is that the more you drink, the more you want! I keep the water bottle with me all the time ... in the car, I take it to the store ... I should get a nifty little hip holster for it!

Water..water...what a lovely thing.

I was a bit hungry last night, and I didn't have much OP on hand, so I thought to myself, have a diet coke. It will get rid of the cravings. Then I thought about the whole soda thing..and then I thought about the whole being thirsty thing. Well, it didn't take long to change my mind. I drank about 18 oz of water..and felt alot better, and my hunger went away. I wasn't hungry, it had just been an hour since I drank any water.

Yesterday: A gallon +

Ok so yesterday my water consumption SUCKED (or rather I was not sucking down water!)! But I did get 56 oz down which is better than nothing. I find that that first 32-36 oz that I get in when I go to the gym is what REALLY helps me have a good water day.

I got a new freebie water bottle last night, its huge! 36 oz No Pudge Brownies water bottle... so I've already sucked it down once and I'm working on the next one!
