I understand where you are coming from. I do not eat pudding but I eat my other foods with chopsticks or I use a teaspoon. It takes longer to eat so I gradually get full and I find it fun (especially with the chopsticks).

I am a teaspoon girl, too. My Mom and sis use teaspoons, and Dad uses a tablespoon. A tablespoon seems 'greedy' to me. (or man-sized, for Dad) I actually use a demi-tasse spoon for yogurt and ice cream, because it feels 'dainty', and it takes longer to eat.
I eat all of my meals with children's size forks and spoons. Not only do I think that it makes the meal last longer and in turn I fill up faster. Some people may think that it is stupid, but I say if it works for me I will keep doing it.
I used to always use the larger spoons. I enjoyed my food more the more I got into my mouth at a time. Now I always use the smaller spoon, and I enjoy my food more. It slows me down, and puts the focus back on the actual food, instead of just on volume.
I have always used teaspoons. My new motto is quality not quantity. If I want chocolate or cheese or something else that I don't eat on a regular basis, I buy something uber yummy (and expensive). I tend to take my time and enjoy something more if I know it cost more money. Goofy, I know.
People think I'm a lunatic when they see me eating with my niece's miniature winnie the pooh knife and fork set, but do I care? No I don't, because it does last longer and deceives my mind into thinking I'm eating more!
