- tripped down the stairs this morning leading to a pop noise and SERIOUS EFFING PAIN in my knee to the point i almost threw up right there
+ my coworker went to the kitchen and got my ice pack for me so i didn't have to walk all the way there to get it
+ another coworker got me coffee
+ coming in to work to find gifts on my desk... cute masked teddy beat with a halloween basket with candy in it, some hand sanitizing lotions from B&BW, and some awesome effing socks that i can't wait to wear.. super soft and super cute and pink... with lace at the top like a ruffle... OMG she knows me so well
- taking a perc hasn't helped the pain... which means it's call the doctor time
+ i am in love with the house i'm living in... even if it did hurt me this morning... i mean who doesn't love living in a 100+ year old farm house on 2 acres of land with an awesome wrap around porch to sit and drink beer on or other stuff my sister and her bf came over for the victory beer i bought them for helping me move on saturday and we sat outside for hours just drinking and talking... i'm pretty sure my sisters bf has fallen in love with the place too lol... but it's too bad because i got the last room lol

Holy smokes. Hope your knee feels better soon and it's not too badly damaged!

Here's my morning so far:
+ it's a gorgeous fall day and is supposed to stay this way through the rest of the week
+ I'm totally caught up on my laundry as of last night
- I was cooking oats in the microwave and it overflowed and I lost 1/4 of my breakfast and now I'm hungry! (I think it's more mental)
- I have less than 1/4 tank of gas in my car and every gas station in a 10 mile radius is either out, or only selling premium at nearly $5 a gallon
- I somehow managed to gain SEVEN FREAKIN' POUNDS in 3 days (I'm sure it's water weight, but still)
+ Despite the above, my black skirt is still loose
+ I found a $5 bill in the pocket of my black skirt when I put it on this morning

All in all, I think everything is balancing out nicely.

Let's see;

+ we got a new laptop
- we were unable to set up the router to go wireless
- husband was ready to kill the 'help' guy from Belkin (router)
- lost all internet connection, even the wired one
+ I called Verizon (dsl) and got directions on how to get internet connection back (um, hold the restart button in on the back of the modem for 3 secs!)
+ Got walkthrough directions on how to bridge the modem (and wrote them down)
- still could not set up the router
+ convinced hubby that the problem was not due to the 'kids messing up the desktop with their games and AIMing', instead convincing him that there was no ethernet connection because something was missing from our desktop.
+ hubby mulled it over and realized we might be missing an ethernet driver (we were) and downloaded it.
+ I hooked up the router and we went wireless!
- no luck getting daughter's laptop to go wireless
- turned on laptop Sunday and could not go wireless
+ fiddled around and by resetting the router and disconnecting then reconnecting the laptop, all is well again.
+ Daughter came home from college for the weekend
+ Stayed OP and dropped a lb!
+ Got my TM intervals, yoga and dog walk done this morning
- Had to drop my daughters school bag off because she forgot it at a neighbors house
+ Found a pair of reading glasses in my strength at the drug store (1.00 -- man these were hard to find. Just needing a tweak)
- Said laptop is fun and is consuming mass quantities of my time
+ I have the cutest dog in the world!

Ok, so it was a little long but it did cover from Friday through today.

I put on 7 lbs this weekend (yeah, mostly water, but damn the scale anyway!) and still my favorite black skirt was loose.

Hmmm...

+ DSS (3.5 yrs old) went to bed easily Friday night after being home sick all day
- Didn't exercise Saturday morning because I was just plain feeling lazy as DSS got us up three times during the night
+ DSS ran up and gave me a spontaneous hug and told me he loved me when I first came downstairs Saturday morning
+ Did exercise Sunday morning even though DSS was up four times the night before, felt great
- DSS told me Sunday that he didn't like pizza out with dad & Shannon, he liked pizza out with dad & Granny and he was sad because he wanted his mommy
+ DSS gave me a hug before he left Sunday night and told me he wasn't mad at me anymore...
+ It is a gorgeous day here
+ I'm wearing a polo shirt that was too tight just a few months ago
+ & - Gas crisis in Atlanta looking to last until October 13th, I have a full tank because I sat in line for 45 minutes Friday morning

-Gained a pound this week (after working my butt off! But I have been eating a lot of salt lately...so.... it HAS to go away)
+ Tried on my business suit (without spanx) and it's comfortable again!
+ Got lots of exercise in this weekend
- Can't sit or stand because of it (I either literally fall down or hobble my way up to stand. Plus I'm trying to drink more water b/c of the salt thing, so I have to tinkle A LOT, which means I fall onto the toilet... every half hour. Getting up looks real good too )
+ Got two tests done this weekend
- Have 31 more tests to do
- My eye hurt so bad this morning I couldn't keep my contact in. I'm wearing stupid looking glasses to work. No one has said anything (I work with men, who are probably too afraid to say anything in case it "hurts my feelings." Whatever. Like I'm ever that sensitive. Raz me! It's cool. I think they have angry wives. Or bad past experiences with females).
-I got three zits over the weekend (wtf???), over medicated, and they're peeling skin. And they're still zits.
+ BF is looking hot!! He's lost 40lbs in two months and he's looking good! Plus getting super healthy.
+ Just got paid, and it's not completely gone before it was deposited!!!
+ OP so far today (and the WHOLE weekend for that matter) and it's a pretty day!

Oh I can so relate. I added weights to my squats and step-ups last week and I'm fine as long as I don't have to sit on the toilet or walk *down* the stairs.
