Here's a brief description of the program being offered through WW -- I think it's for a month, but I will get the dates when I get a chance.
"Valid in participating areas. Weight Watchers will donate the cost of a pound of food for each pound lost during campaign period. Pounds lost by Members will be determined by average weight lost per meeting attendance during campaign period multiplied by total number of attendances during campaign period. Pounds lost by Online Subscribers will be determined by total weight loss recorded in the Weight Tracker during campaign period. Weight losses are subject to our healthy weight loss guidelines. Cost of food will be calculated by each participating charity. Donations will be made 70% to Share our Strength up to $700,000 and 30% to Action Against Hunger up to $300,000."
Just wondering if anyone would like to keep a running total of what we've lost during this program with WW?
I lost 3 lbs this week -- so add yours to mine and we can keep a running total.
Sorry, I stayed the same this week, but I saw your cry for help in the thread killer thread, so I didn't want to leave you hanging... Hope I'm not the thread killer here.
Thank you -- it's nice to know at least it was viewed
I remember back to when I was "new" on here -- when you start a thread like "when/how do you weigh yourself, etc.", you know the threads you find out later have been started/stopped like 800 times before you even joined. Now I at leas try to look around a little before I start a new one
But I did join/start the biggest loser challenge on here this week -- so I ambitiously want to lose 30 pounds in the 14 weeks of the challenge, so next week I hope to post a decent loss here -- or I will never help out the "lose for good" challenge!!!
