Default Already went over my daily calorie limit and its only luch time!

So, today I woke up super hungry for some reason, I don't know why. I veered off my daily calorie intake by 100 plus calories already and its only luch time! Not only my calorie intake but also the amount of carbs and fat! and now I don't know what to do for dinner. I figured I would just eat what I usually do for dinner and re-start tomorrow.

Part of me is depressed that I weighed in this morning and didn't see a change in the scale How depressing. Am I trying to self sabotage myself??

Well.. I've been here many many times. The best thing you can do is keep track of your calories for the rest of the day and try to keep them to a minimum and eat healthily. If you go over your allowance by say 600 you can just eat 100 less per day for the rest of the week and you're no worse off. The key is dont feel bad about it though

that has happened to me, and I fix it oldschool. lol. A can of tuna with lemon, and if still not satisfied, eat another can of tuna with lemon. It's really filling and pure good protein.

Lightbulb green or fruit

Here are few ideas:
Whenever I go over my limit during the day I take easy at dinner.
Either I have only salad (not even has to be little, because salad is very light). So I have a super big salad or I only eat fruits. Apples, peaches, grapes, melons. I usually eat a bite of each one.
So you kill your hunger and don’t feel so guilty.
If I crave something else. I only have one cup of sugar free gelatin. The one I buy has only 5 cal/each.
Good luck!!!

Dont be too hard on yourself. Dont think of it as starting over. just get back on track today and be proud that you caught yourself before you went WAY overboard

Boy, can I relate. I have an awful time fighting hunger between meals (I actually have to take hoodia to help with that). All I can say is, there's always tomorrow. Try not to beat yourself up too much.

Thanx for all the encouraging words everyone. I was hoping to see a change in the scale this week, I've been working so hard at the gym. Even improved my mile jog to 13:25 this week from 14:50. I know I'm making progress in the gym but not the scale. Its frustrating

*points up*
what they said. I've done this before. Just eat a light dinner and whatever amount your over for the day try and take off the next couple of days. And plan your meals and stick to your plan so it doesn't happen again. Keep a journal of these feelings so the next time you are tempted to overate you can go back and review how it made you feel.

I definitely recommend just staying on plan the rest of the day and starting over tomorrow. I don't think starving yourself for the evening is the way to go. Eat reasonably and don't get overly hungry, and start again tomorrow.

Just got back from the gym had an hour work out. The only bad thing is that I couldn't jog as far today cuz my fibula started to hurt but stuck to the eliptical most of the time. I feel a bit better just wish I hadn't gone overboard on the calories. I'm thinking of doing a sensible dinner probably salad with chicken and some veggies. Thanx for being supportive everyone!

Sounds to me like the scale didn't move, so you decided to punish it by eating.

I hope things go better for you this week! Don't give up!

Just get back on track and you will be fine. Don't beat yourself up over it. The nice thing is you can start over any time.
