Default How much did you loose in your first week?

Hi everyone,

A bit of intro first : I am new to this site and found it while looking for LAWL support groups online. I have just joined LAWL in this week and was wondering how much people loose in their first week. I have never been able to lose weight successfully if I eat carbs, so my best weight loss has been on South Beach Diet, Phase 1.

I am 225 right now and my height is 5'7". Right now, I am on a 26 week plan with a goal weight of 185 lbs. I am very glad to see this forum because here I can see success of real people and not the "models" in the commercials.

I have to admit, I am a bit skeptical right now, because the food looks like a lot, I am on plan 4. And also, I have been reading reviews online and most of them seem to agree that it is a scam/rip-off. I am not using LA Lites, but I am using their Vitamax and Calcium. The counselors at the center are not forcing me yet to buy anything, so lets see how that goes.

Thank you so much for reading this

So, if you could answer how much you lost in your first week with LAWL that would be great! TIA!

Can't remember how much I lost the 1st week, but I remember being shocked that I lost at all b/c I felt like all I did was eat!

It is a lot of food, but it's good food.......you'll be surprised how quickly you adjust to this new way of eating & the best part is your never hungry.

Good luck!

I lost 3 pounds the first week (and none at all after the introduction part).

It is only a rip off if you quit. I felt a bit like I was being taken advantage of at first, but I feel that it was an excellent investment now. You won't starve on this plan, you will just learn how to eat in a healthy way that you can fit into your life. I have seen lots of ways that people lost weight, and many of them faster than LAWL, but I haven't seen many ways where lots of people are still thinner a year or two after they have lost... and that is what I got with LAWL.

Thank you everyone for replying !

It is very impressive how much all of you have lost! And I agree that its a lot of food but all good food, hopefully I will loose some weight. Tomorrow is my one week weigh-in, so I will share with you guys how it went.

Just today I found out that using name of my employer (company) I could have saved 35% on the cost! Will ask them tomorrow, if they will honor it after I have already paid, I doubt, but there is no harm in asking, right?

I am so glad I have found this site and the wonderful support that you all offer. Thanks!!

I pulled my excel chart and I lost:

Week 1: 4.0 lbs
Week 2: 4.0 lbs
Week 3: 4.0 lbs
Week 4: 9.0 lbs

Which means I lost 21 lbs in the first month. Now having said that I had 133 lbs to lose and was over 300 lbs. Also, in less than a year (3 more WIs will be 1 year), I have lost 108.8 lbs. It can work, if you work at it.

Good Luck.

Hi all,
I just joined LAWL 4 days ago and have lost 5.6 pounds already. I know that most of that is fluid but I feel good, lots more energy and love the food I get to eat.

I lost 8 pounds just on "take off" last week. I did not weigh in yet but my mom did LAWL and took off over 153 pounds and has kept it off.
