Hello everyone. Did you have a happy 4th? I sure did. The weather here was just great. The weathermen had us all scared that we would have rain, rain, rain. It never materialized. Went golfing, to a cookout, and then to fireworks on the 4th. On Saturday, went to the beach (beautiful). and then went to dinner with some friends. On Sunday, took a long walk and then to our friends' house for dinner.

Melissa, Your orange cake was a hit! DH really liked it.

So, I had a good time, got lots of exercise in and was OP all last week (not the weekend). I got on the scale this morning and no change! I was so upset It used to be that I would be OP for a few days and would lose a couple pounds. Now, it seems like no matter what I do, I either stay the same or gain. Argh.

What did the rest of you do?

Hi everyone! I worked on the 4th, but was busy on Saturday and Sunday. The 4th is my dad's birthday and while we normally celebrate on the 4th, we celebrated on Saturday the 5th this year. DH and I stayed over my parents that night, and then went to my nephew's birthday party on Sunday (his actual birthday is the 3rd). It was fun, but draining on Sunday and we ended up leaving the party after 4 1/2 hours. I just wanted to go home and relax!
