Default Is I Can't Believe It's Not Butter Spray core?

I want to use the spray for popcorn, baked potato, etc. Is it core? Has anyone used it?

Hi Sloan, I don't think it is core. 5 sprays is 0 calories, but when I checked online it said 3pts for 1Tbls. I don't know how that was calculated when everything on the nutrition label is 0. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

Niki, my Complete Food Companion says that ICBINB FF margarine is Core. So, if it's FF it's Core whether it's spray or in the tub. It doesn't specifically mention the spray.

I tried it once about 4 years ago and didn't like it. I'd rather pay points and use less for smart balance. JMHO.

Can you both let me know if you like it? I thought it had a chemical taste.

Hate to burst your bubble girls, but the ICBINB ff margarine is not core. The I Can't Believe its not yogurt ff margarine is core. I have never seen this. But the ICBINB spray is 0 points if you only use 5 sprays as thingirlinside mentioned. Our ww leader told us that. But if you use more, you will have to start counting points for it. No regular butter or margarine is core. But I never knew or heard about I can't believe its not yogurt ff margarine. I might have to give that a try, if I can find it.

Tracie, I checked the WW book and it listed it as Core.

It lists ICBINB FF margarine, 1 Tbsp, 0 points, with a Core checkmark. As far as I know there are no corrections issued to the Complete Food Companion.

In the generic part of the list FF margarine of any brand is listed as 1 point for 4 Tbsps with a Core checkmark.

Based on this, I'd still consider the FF spray Core.

It would be sad if we couldn't trust the book.

Thanks for the info, chicks.

Vickie-I have not used the spray, but I did taste it. I thought is tasted pretty good. I know that it is something I will use in moderation, because I don't think it would be good in large amounts.

Maybe I used too much. I'll try it again the next time it's on sale.

Vickie, I always use the spray and I love it I use it on corn on the cob, mash potatoes and everything else that calls for butter and 5 prays go along way.
I also saved the empty bottle and put olive oil in it so when I cook I use the olive oil and I spray salads and veggies.

Ok...it sounds like they might have improved it. I LOVE butter/margarine on my veggies.

I was quoting what e-tools says. They say it's not core, but my book says the same thing yours does, if it's the ff kind. I wonder which is correct? I guess you can go by the book.
My leader told me that the spray is o points, if you only use 5 sprays, but if you use more than you have to start counting it. Just relating what I heard and seen.
