Default Curves diet bar

Hi,
Yesterday my husband bought me some Curves bars. I ate one and like 15 min later got really bad stomach cramps. My hubby thought it was probably cramps from something else. So I thought the same later last night I tried one again intense stomach cramps. I felt like someone was stabbing me in the gut.
I know I have issues with the fake sugars but didnt see any in this. I seen Ethanol. Can Ethnol cause stomach cramps. Should I alert my doctor to this? Maybe I have a food allergy to one of the ingredents? Please note I am NOT stating anything against this food item. I simply want to know what could have caused such cramps?

At first I thought it might be the fiber, but it only has 5 grams of fiber in it. Overall, the ingredients don't look good. It could be the ethanol or something else.
Here are the ingredients I found posted online (which were hard to find)

chicory root extract, crisp rice, chocolate chips with confectioner's shellac (choc. chips - sugar, choc. liquor, cocoa butter, dextrose, milk fat, soy lecithin), ethanol, shellac, hydrogenated coconut oil, peanuts, oats, barley flakes, high maltose corn syrup, honey, glycerin, sugar, maltodextrin, canola oil, tricalciam phosphate, high fructose corn syrup, palm kernel oil, soy lecithin, salt, milk, cocoa processed with alkali, peanut oil, natural and artificial flavor, baking soda, color, almond flour, wheat flour, sunflower meal, mixed tocopherols.

Chicory root extract is also called inulin. It's a prebiotic and it is pure fiber. I think that might be causing your crampy tummy! That is the same ingredient in fiber one bars that give people some problems as well.
