Jumper....I am going to guess you mean sweater?

This is what Americans call a jumper:

Danielle - I love the pictures you shared of your garden! I also found your Mary garden touching and the angel, what a deal!!!

Renee - Bravo on walking anyway and I totally agree with you how good it is to have this support system here to count on. And my wedding dress - had to be made by my MIL as I was 8 months pregnant (see pic). You'll be beautiful, your avatar shows that. Enjoy your wedding, its a one time event, live it.

Amy - I enjoyed your singing with Sinead. The sweetness in your voice matches your face, too.

Josephine - so glad your knee is feeling better and getting to see baby osprey IS so cool!!!

Jennifer - thanks for your compliment on the house. Maybe the blue team can cabana on over here some time and we can lounge on the porch . . .

What I'm happy for today:
- I don't live in Myanmar or China - the news coverage almost always makes me cry a little.
- My black jeans are coming all the way up on my waist and keep slipping down because I have lost 9 inches, mostly from my hips and thighs.

Going out to the garden and work off some more calories . . . working tomorrow (nursing), probably won't be back to chat until late tomorrow night or Tuesday so keep up the spirit Blue Team - I'm counting on ya'

Things that made me happy today:

Planted two tomatoe plants, 1 yellow squash and 1 cucumber.
We worked in the front yard so our yard no longer looks like a jungle.
That I had a weight loss to record even if it was a little one.

Something else that made me happy in a round about way. The kids decided to pull 80% of their toys out of their bedroom into the living room. Every time they brought something else out I warned them what they didn't have put away was going in the closet (toy timeout). Needless to say they lost 75% of their toys tonight. That will make my week cleaning house MUCH easier. Plus their shouldn't be a bunch of toys in the way of the treadmill so I shouldn't have any excuses to not use it or my videos. They will get to start earning toys back when DH comes home sometime between Wednesday and Friday evening.

I have these really big (like 3-4 cups probably) blue bowls that I think are the prettiest bowls ever, and I just made a salad featuring stuff I got at the farmer's market:
1. this amazingly PURPLE and dark green marbled lettuce
2. mini cucumbers that are so cute! I've never seen them this little before
3. the reddest tomato I've seen in months
4. a few different shapes and colors of beans
and some other stuff...

Anyway, now I feel like this salad is way too pretty to eat. It looks like a salad in a restaurant ad -- where all the food is more colorful than in real life and every vegetable is flawless.

Just had to share Maybe now I can actually eat it after posting this silliness!

Woo-hoo Chat #5! We're just fantastic chatters

Amy - Actually... a lot of my elementary school teachers used to wear jumpers. They were longer... but they were jumpers alright!

what made me happy today:
I went to my dad's 65th birthday party, and my two aunts, who I haven't seen in about a year complimented me on my weight loss! That felt good!
Also, I haven't checked the scale yet, but I think that I am down another pound!
Dora...congrats on the 9 inches!!
Amy...sounds like you need to buy a new jumper! (yes, I knew that meant sweater...I spent some time in Australia, and keep in contact with some friends there)
Time to get my kiddies to bed...I need some "me" time!!
Good luck with the weigh in tomorrow Blue team!

Ah, those Aussies and their funny talk! We forgive them, though, because they breed such hot lifeguards.
