Default 40/40/20 similar plan?

i have been following 40/40/20 plan. I eat 40%protein 40% Carbs and 20%fat. I keep my calories within 1200-1600, depending on how much i exercise. I also try to eat about 90-130 grams of protein a day since i lift weights.

for examplke today my stats are 1319 calories, 27 grams of fat, 115 carbs & 124 grams of protien

It can be confusing but it works for me, fitday really helps.

So far it is going really well for me. i am always full and i have alot of energy.

Is any one else on a similar plan? How do you like it? Any tips or advice?

I followed a 40/30/30 plan several years ago and had good success.
I found that it was too much to think about though
I don't much keep track of ratios anymore. Just try to eat a balanced diet, fairly low in fat (30 % or less) and stop eating when I'm full.

The Body for Life (a book/plan by Bill Phillips) plan is basically the same thing, except they dont say to count the calories just portion sizes and there is a workout plan involved. Background- I did the 12 week program 7 years ago ago and lost 40 lbs of fat went from size 14 to 7. Time, bad choices, and even worse boyfriends ruined it. I highly recommend it for people who have never really worked out before. The great part is that you are eating 6times a day and are FULL. Check out the book!

I have and I would be if I was being really good. BFL, BFFM .... some combination of the two.

Once I'd been using fitday for a while and had a good idea what foods were what ... it wasn't too complicated.

On May 9th I had 1484 cals 34%P, 39%C, 26%F

Tips? I can't do it without protein shakes. And you have to master the minimeal combo ... know in your head what's an acceptable snack. Prepackaging is wonderful too.
