I find it exactly the opposite. Then again, I originally spent a bit of my life in Phoenix AZ, so moving into the UK, I was more than surprised at the lack of sunshine and good weather.

Personally, I find that especially in the summer time, if you get up and get moving, even if its just a walk around the block, I sweat a lot less. I dunno why though. The heat makes you sweat more, and therefore, you have to push yourself harder.

If it gets too hot, I tend to workout inside my home, with a video workout, or wiifit, with my airconditioning unit focused on me.

The weather is lovely! I'm from Alberta, Canada, and they got 10cms of snow yesterday!! lol I'm down South and absolutely love the weather right now. No more sweatshirts and carrying my umbrella around everywhere... it's gorgeous! I know what you mean about working out though, but I find "natural" exercise, like going for a walk, so much easier when the weather is nice. I walk everywhere, and these last few days I have found that when I reach my destination I don't want to stop walking!

freedomreins, I'm from calgary and I hear ya on the snow (I'm still in shock about it!)
l00py, in the winter I love jogging, but come spring and summer I'm a swimmer. There's just something about jumping in a pool when the weathers warm, that I just love. However, the thought of doing that when it's -20C - is so far out of the question it's not even funny. i've just learned to modify my excerise to suit the weather and my mood.

I sometimes wander if I'm the only person in existence who doesn't like the heat...it just makes me uncomfortable and who likes being sweaty?! Not me anyway!

I totally agree with Spoz and l00py, I hate the heat and really suffer in it. It makes me incredibly lethargic. I love swimming but all our pools here are indoor so it makes no difference what the weather is outside - it must be wonderful to be able to swim outdoors in the sun though. I like sunny days with a good breeze, but like l00py says, when there's no wind it's just horrible.

I'm still wearing thermals and cardigans to work This whole 'always cold' thing is never gonna go away I figure :| I can't complain though - I used to feel like I was about to die in the heat... now I'm hoping to at least be able to wear a shirt without a base layer/outer layer!!

Spoz I agree with you. I don't really like the heat. Ok if there is a breeze but hate that everyone else looks cool and I am the 'sweaty Betty!'. I can cope at work (air con) but in my flat it gets very warm indeed. I have a fan but it is under a pile of boxes whcih I have yet to take to the garage I rent.
