Default Erythritol - natural sweetener

I have started using this in place of splenda and stevia recently, the Z-sweet brand. It comes in granules and doesn't dissolve as well as sugar but it's pretty good, no bitterness, tastes like fruit sugar. Has anyone else tried it or heard bad things about it?

I've tried it and I think it tastes just like real sugar. I don't know if it can be used to replace sugar in everything. We tested it by baking brownies using a basic recipe from Cooking Light. The regular recipe was dense like a brownie should be, but the zsweet batch was fluffy and almost cake like. Otherwise, it was just as tasty

Hi ! It's a sugar alcohol so just be careful not to use too much at once or it can cause stomach problems - not as much as malitol or some of the others but it can be troublesome. I don't use it - its kinda hard to find around here - but I have a few friends who do and they LOVE the flavor but have had problems when overindulging.
