Default Exercisers check in here! May 5th - 11th

Hi Gang! And welcome to anyone who wants to post here. The purpose of this post is to list all your activity you do during the day, cheer on others and gain motivation to move!

I am donating blood this afternoon, so I got up early to get in a 3 mile WATP and will be doing my strength training after I get orders packed this morning.
I didn't want to use the blood donation as an excuse not to workout! I had to laugh, DH was still in bed after I got done and instead of Good morning, he said "You are so damned dedicated".

I will be having some Lorna Doones at the snack table after the donation, though

Got my bowflex in today as well, before the blood donation! Now I don't know what to do with myself, LOL.

Oooh- the Bowflex. I bet you'll lovelovelove it. I wish I had room for one, but the usually passive hubster would kill me. I have exercise stuff all over the house. Don't tell me it folds up small and tidily if you want me to live!

Normal evening routines in one evening... bike and walking the dog both with hills thrown in for good measure, HRM estimates 1110 calories.

I had to walk past of bars, mariachi bands and margaritas I so very badly wanted a salty margarita on the rocks. Ah well.

Lori - I would agree with your hubby! hehe. Nice job!

FB - I wanted margarita too! I like the frozen ones though!!

I did the usual.... walked the dog with my bf. It wasn't the 1.5 miles this time. My doggie is still sore and we had to take it easy for him.

I did my Tae Bo, ordered a new one "Cardio Circuit" had to stop a bit in it, but it was fun to do. Will try to do Jari Love, but am a bit busy tonight.

FB - that is some serious calorie burning you are doing! I do love the bowflex. It doesn't really fold up small, but the bench can be raised up so it can be pushed into a corner if need be. We have it in our spare bedroom - where I use it.

Today I did my upper body bowflex workout. Then c25K Week 5 Day 3. I jogged for 20 minutes straight!!!!! I went about 1 3/8 miles, so that is around a 16-17 minute mile. Not too shabby. I really now think I will be able to do the whole 5K!

Good job all

Got in Jillian frontside last night -- that one burns and I'm still doing beginners!

Getting ready to do Jillian backside -- that one for some reason is not so hard for me.

I have a pilates dvd and a cardio dvd that I alternate with an hour of jogging.

By the way, I realized in my jog today that hills must be great for your butt! lol lucky me.

I'm working on baby steps... Last night I got in a half hour brisk walk, today I stopped taking the elevator at work and huffed two flights of stairs whenever I had to get up or down and took a brisk 45 minute walk with stairs through the outside of my complex tonight. Oh and lets not forget all the extra trips to the bathroom now that I'm drinking enormous amounts of H2O

Hi everyone,
I've been busy exercising...and not much time for the computer lately so I haven't checked in. I've been walking 2-3 miles each night so far this week. Last night I did 3 miles with our Tuesday walking club for our Parks and Recreation Dept. It was a lot of fun. I'm down another pound this week for a 5 pound total loss in the last 3 weeks.
Have a good day~

Kellsua

You guys are doing great! Yesterday I woke up with fever and body aches and was really weak. I am much better today and managed a 30 minute walk.

Hi all! Keep up the good work!

Today I did a 20 minute walk, then we biked to dinner tonight. About 5 miles each way.

I had a bad day yesterday, spent the evening in the children's E.R. because my son refractured his arm. The cast was just taken off 2 weeks ago. So, no exercise last night- besides pacing.

Bad day today too. Regardless of the heavy rain I walked and walked- it suited my mood perfectly to walk in a downpour. I rewalked a killer hill 3 times just to get my HR up. HRM claims 947 calories and I feel 947% better- just wet . A more productive pity party than my ones in the past with Lindt truffles!
