Default exercise--muscle strain!!?!

I realized this weekend exactly how out of shape I must be...I helped my mom garden in the backyard for 2 hours on Friday morning and I am STILL aching. The backs of my thighs are very tight and hurt even when I'm walking around!! I have been using a heating pad (yeah, I'm a wimp!) and taking Aleve to help the pain..any other suggestions?

Stretch! You can google for good stretches for the hamstring (they're hard to put into words, websites have photos! ). Especially when your muscles are nice and warm from activity, stretching is a great way to ease the soreness. Also drink lots of water as your muscles are busy using water to repair themselves!
