Finally, a spring-like day in s-w Ontario yesterday, so after work, I took my dogs for the first walk this spring (they are greyhounds with almost no body fat, so they don't do well in winter and they prefer to walk without coats). I always try to walk at a fairly brisk pace (both for my as well as their sake) but yesterday, I felt like I had a battery propelling me from behind. I walked very fast (one of my dogs was panting heavily while I was not) and I felt that if somebody walked with me, I would have been able to have a conversation all the time).
The two months spent on the treadmill are paying off, and this is just the beginning.
