Default Cost of Lap Band

I was just wondering if anyone has done the surgery without insurance coverage. I do not have insurance and would like to look into it. I am shopping for insurance coverage but I am a student who works part time, I can't really afford most plans. So if your insurance company has covered it please let me know who you have. Thanx a bunch.

I've seen ad's from $6,000 to $15,000. Guess it depends on where you live.
