Default Picked up a "Biggest Loser" booklet at supermarket

And their calorie recommendation for someone of my weight - about 150 lbs. - is only 1050 a day! I told my H, if I were to eat that few calories, I'd be starving.

The book is also recommending a lot of exercise. Someone trying to stick to a 1050 calorie diet and exercising would, in my opinion, become very unhealthy in a hurry.

I try to stick to 1200, but most days I fail and it comes out to between 1400 and 1500.

In my opinion, as long as you are losing at 1400-1500 calories a day I would stick with that. That way you have some room to decrease your calories if you stop losing at that range.

Does TBL book have you eating back your exercise calories That can easily add 200 to 300 calories per day.

But yes, I agree anything under 1200 is a poor recommendation.
