Default Food List??

Is there a way someone can put out a food list? I know that fruits, and veggies are always what to eat, but it would be nice to have a list of actual foods that are good to eat.
Or common foods to put together 3-4 night a week meals with. Sorry if this is already posted!

It really really REALLY depends on what plan you are following. Are you just trying to eat healthier? whole foods? calorie counting? low carb? high protein? vegetarian or vegan? low fat? counting Points? low sodium? etcetera, etcetera, etcetera...

EVERYONE here does different things. No one can tell you what to eat or what to buy--we all follow our own individual tastes One of my favorite dinners is chicken breast tenders smeared with homemade barbecue sauce topped with a slice of avocado and half a slice of Swiss cheese, served with mashed cauliflower. This might be silly for someone who's not watching their simple carb intake because they could just have potatoes, and making their own barbecue sause with Splenda might be pointless.

Maybe a better approach would be to tell us what your goals and plan are, and what kinds of things you enjoy eating. For just about ANY food you can think up, there is a way to make it a healthier option

What Jilly said.

My staples might be WAY different than yours, if we have different goals. If you are trying to eat on a lower carb plan, my grocery list wouldn't work well for you at all.

Most people on the board WILL agree on lean proteins (though some of us are vegetarian, so they rely on non-meat sources) and non-starchy veggies. Past that, we're all doing something just a bit different, based on our tastes, our goals, and the plans we've decided to follow.
