Default sad news

well, folks. it's like this. the alzheimer's mom died last sunday morning, and that's why i've been a bit, um, absent. peachie [who's my real-life sister] and the rest of the family have been dealing with this -

mom had a stroke about 3 weeks ago, and, although she seemed to be improving at first, she later went downhill very quickly. it's actually a blessing that her end was quick and peaceful.

thanks for understanding.

Oh honey....I am sorry. I realize that it is a blessing that she passed the way she did but OOOOOh OUCH...none the less.

May you feel the warmth and love of your family near to you...just as your family here sends a big

With condolences,

Angela

So sorry to hear about what happened. My mom's mom died of alzheimer's (she had it for so long), and the family felt the same way about her passing... painful, but a blessing. *HUGS* hang in there sweetheart.

AW JIFF:

I'm so sorry. Happy for your mom because her suffering is over, but really sad for you and your family.

I wondered where you were! We miss you when your not around!

Oh Jif! Hugs and prayers. I have been lurking on this site since the late 90's and have followed your incredible progress as well as your life adventures with mom. You are very loved around here.

Thoughts and prayers and hugs. My mom died of Alzheimer's also and although you know they're in a better place, it's sooooo hard.

Love, Carol
