Default A Turning Pound

Does anyone else have one of these? A weight that, when you're over it you feel "fat" and when you're under it you feel at least better if not actually "thin".

For me it's 170....if I'm weighing in at 171 I'll put on my frumpiest outfit and hide away. But if I'm weighing in at 169, then woo! Look out world! The skinny jeans come out and I tend to show much more skin. (those poor folks at the gym who have to see my abs)

I guess that's just proof that it can be all psychological. Obviously those 2lbs make almost no difference in how I actually look, but they make me feel different. And I can always tell when I'm under because I wake up feeling better, weigh myself, and sure enough it's under 170.

Very odd. I don't know why it's 170 for me. I didn't weigh that for any momentous occasion in my life. I'm not slipping down a dress size there. I just find it funny.

LOL - 170 was mine too. But at 169, I moved from obese to overweight (BMI calculator). Only a lb. difference, but a world of difference statistically.

I thought it was 175 but now that I've seen 173 almost everyday all week I just can't wait to be in the 160s. Then I'm sure it will go to 155 and so on. LOL!

Default It's funny...

I don't have a weight that I can pinpoint as my turning weight. But despite the fact that I started at 445, nowadays, I can sit in my house and think that I feel fat. I feel I have fat and thin days. Words that I never thought would ever come out of my mouth, "I feel fat today".
I'm actually glad that I feel that way. Makes me prouder of the weight loss that I have had so far.

I think for me it'd be 200. I haven't been under 200 in over 3 years. Pretty sad since I started off at 145 and over a period 4 years I'm up to 235. Boy do those pounds creep up on ya. When I hit 199.... I'll be

For me it seems to be 150--in that I am pretty stuck at that weight and having a hard time putting it behind me! Grrrrr. If I'm above it, I'm discouraged, and if I'm below it, I feel better. It's so funny--because it's just a number like any other.

At this point my turning pound would be 166. I've been bouncing between 167-169 for about 6 months now so to see 166 would feel like I've escaped the loop.

For me it's 150 too.

If I am 152 then I feel fat and if it's 149 I'm on top of the world.

Although I must admit I wish I was 152 right now!

For me it's 200. Unfortunately, I'm nowhere near my turning pound.

But, I do have fat days and thin days even at my current weight. This week, every day is a fat day, due to my dear Aunt Flo.

159! It's where I'm at now, it's where I got to before xmas (and then fell off wagon) and it seems to be where my body likes to be (albeit temporarily lol I'm not gonna let it win! I'm still overweight according to the figures)

He he he...I'm glad I'm not the only one who has this kind of weird fat/notfat/fat/notfat/fat/notfat thing. It's kind of like standing at the border of two states and jumping in and out of them saying "I'm here, I'm there, I'm here, I'm there".

Oh...that is too funny. I don't know that i have a set number but it seems like every number down is a "thin" number and fluctuating back up is a "fat" number. I don't think i'll find a truely happy "number" until I start seeing what i want to see in the mirror when i put on my bathing suit. But at the moment...134 makes me feel "thin" and 135 makes me feel kinda "fat". And when i fluctuate up to 137 I feel like a COW!!!! hahahahaha.

Right now it's 195 - enough under 200 that I don't have to stress every day if I happen to retain water. Last time I dieted I couldn't get below 180, so that was my magic number. I was ok to be 180 but not ok to be 181. I think psychologically this time when I hit 179 it will be my huge victory and I'll be able to focus on 150.
