I did alli, and it worked great for me. Mainly what I found, the main benefit, to the pill is your willpower....if your meal contains over 30% fat, you get those lovely treatment effects, and you don't want those, so if you have no willpower and you'd like some help telling you when you've eaten over that alloted fat amount, the pill definitely will let you know....through a nice oily discharge - ahem. which, by the way, is why you want to start taking alli on the weekend, when you are home, and near a bathroom. And don't wear white either LOL. So sorry, it actually is quite funny, but yes it does work. If you are already eating a low fat diet, and have great willpower, alli probably isn't for ya, as per the website. but if you need help in this area, alli can give you the - um - "incentive" to make healthy choices. It is the over the counter strength of the rx drug xenical. In a nutshell, that's Alli. Hope this helps!

I tried it for a few days, while eating a healthy low-fat diet, and didn't get any treatment effects, but did have crippling stomach cramp pain and headaches to the point that I stopped taking it. Within a day of stopping it, the stomach cramps and headaches went away. I didn't take it long enough to see any difference in resulting weight loss.

I never tried alli, but i WAS on xenical for a month, prescribed by my doctor.
it was HORRIBLE for me. I lost 6lbs over the month, and while I experienced very little treatment effects as far as BM's go I did have horrible cramps and bloating, i did lose control of my bowels once during the first week, and this was almost a year ago and i haven't been "regular" since without fiber aids in my diet, and i eat a generally low fat-high fiber diet.
may not be the same with you, but that is my personal experience.

I am using it now along with WW and am having NO problems. Alli is 1/2 the strength as Xenical. I think everyone needs to try it and decide for yourself. I have never had cramps or bloating.

I've been on it a week. Ate within the program guidelines, lost almost 2 lbs with no side effects. I'm going to keep going with it. It seems to be helping.

No problems with me either when I was using it last summer. I stopped when hubby was very ill in Sept., and I have just now started it again.
