Default Pre-Challenge Exercise Log

I noticed that alot of us are including regular exercise in our 2008 goals and intentions. I have found (on another thread) that keeping a "running" log of my exercise helps keep me focused and motivated, and having others post their exerices regiment as well helps keep me accountable. It's a great way to encourage eachother to keep moving, especially on days when we don't feel like moving too much. Just add how many minutes, or how many reps you do daily. So, if noboday minds me starting this thread, here we go...

Jan 1....stayed up too late last night
Jan 2...40 minutes Turbo Jam sculpt, 20 minutes shovelling snow
Jan 3...40 mins Turbo Jam cardio, 20 mins TJ ABS

I have a goal of 4 days of week of deliberate exercise. I managed to get on the treadmill on Monday and Tuesday but only for 30 minutes. Since then the whole family has been sick and no one has slept for more than 45 minutes at a time. I really hope I at least feel better in the morning so I can walk a bit.

Hi everyone! Sounds like you all have gotten off to a good start this year for exercise. I've committed myself to getting at least 4 days of exercise a week, and I've done pretty well this week.

Jan 1st - 4 mile WATP Express
Jan 2nd - Week 1, Workout 1 of Couch to 5K program (approximately 30 minutes on the treadmill)
Jan 3rd - 35 minutes elliptical, free weights for arms, lunges, squats

Everyone keep up the good work! I am so excited for this challenge to start!

I don't have a specific minutes goal rather I just aim for 6 days a week and listen to my body. Here is what I've been doing so far this month. Normally I work out 6 days a week, but I took an extra day this week.

Jan 2 - OFF
Jan 3 - 40 mins walking
Jan 4 - OFF
Jan 5 - 75mins walking and 10 mins running
Jan 6 - 35 mins walking and 30mins turbojam
Jan 7th - 90 mins (walk, 13mins running)
Jan 8th - OFF
Jan 9th - 120mins (Walk, 13 mins running)
jan 10th - 30 mins Low impact aerobic
Jan 11th - 120mins (Walk, 15 mins running)
Running Jan Total: 600 mins
