Default Add me to the overweight crowd!

I almost can't believe I did it! I wanted to get down to the magic number by year end but things were moving very slowly. Then there was a drop. Seems to be how I lose - nothing for days then a week of steady decreases. Anyway I did it!

This is a very significant milestone for me. It's my pre-quitting weight (cigarettes) and my weight before a particularly unpleasant relationship. I fell like I'm back to the me I remember.

Just had to share. I couldn't have done it without the support and encouragement I get here. Now on to the next goal!

Congrats Cyndi!!! I made it to just overweight a few weeks ago as well. It feels great! I probably lose weight in a similar pattern to you - nothing for about 10 days, then drop about a lb. a day for 7 or 8 days....weird, but it is good to know your patterns!

Where in VT are you? I am from FL, but my mother is from Irasburg/Orleans and my entire family still lives there.

Congratulations to you too Gator!

Sounds exactly like my weight loss pattern. I'm glad someone else does that. I've been losing a pound a day for several days again and I always worry that I'm losing too fast. Then I remember the weeks without any movement!

I'm way down in the southeastern corner, a long way from Orleans I love VT but right about now I'd take a little of your weather

You are doing great!!! Also congrats on being over halfway to your goal!
I'm the same too. No lose for a few weeks and then all of a sudden, bang! I lose some. It's hard, but if we just stay on plan, we will see the results we are trying so hard for!

To achieve a goal, there can be no greater feeling I imagine other than the milestones of family. I salute you, seems you make us all proud and uplifted. It is always nice to know that the thoughts and feelings given on a site like this are taken away and used to increase the love and decrease the pounds. -X
