Just wondering if anyone has a specific goal they are trying to reach for Christmas? I'm not sure what a reasonable goal would be for myself, trying to figure it out
thanks ladies
I've been hovering around 175 pounds, but going over at times- my goal is to be consistantly under it. That probably means two or three pounds lost. I don't like to be too ambitious about weight loss itself, because there are too many factors I can't control.
i'm trying to be down to 200 by christmas... which has me sticking to my diet and actually tracking on the weekend... and walking at least 6 miles a week
I'd like to have lost another 5-7 pounds by Christmas...and to actually have LOST weight over the holidays as opposed to maintaining or putting on a few pounds. It won't be easy, but I'm working on willpower!
No true specific number goal... but pretty much to continue losing (however much) up until Christmas. Then to be able to maintain for that one week during Christmas, and after that week start losing again.
My goal is also to continue losing... I'd like to have about #3-5 gone by then - since my New Years goal is to kiss the #180's good bye! If it's more I wouldn't be too upset either. My offical weigh ins are on Fridays - so tmorrow I'd LOVE to see a #1-2 loss from last week.
Anywhere between 2-5lbs. I think I'm a little high right now (could be as high as 150!) so I won't have a more specific goal until sunday when i weigh in.
Also I'd like to lose some inches. right now my waist is around 31 inches, a while ago it was definitely down to 29.5! I'd like to be there or 29 even. That would make me pretty happy.
i'm going for a stretch of somewhere between 10-15lbs...mainly because i know i can do it because i've done it before...good luck to everyone including myself...
I'm just aiming not to treat it like an eating holiday. Eat normally, make wise, conscious decisions about what I consume. I'm probably aiming for 4lbs by Christmas, which should be easily doable (4lbs counting from last WI day, which was Monday).

Reason: can't do math
sweety i can drop a pound a day if i really put my mind and body to it...i drop weight easily when i workout and eat less...but i also can gain it back just as easily...that's the challenge...to not fall of the wagon because i'm excited i've lost a few pounds...
I want to lose about 4lbs... I lose VERY slowly so i don't know if that's possible in just over 2 weeks, but it'll put me at around 185 - which i haven't seen in YEARS.

Would love to see 169 by the new years, I have family coming in around christmas time, so it should be interesting, this calorie counting looks like it's working though!!!! it's a pain in the a** though!
Vix - for calorie counting - I basically get the same foods (I'm good with routine) and know what I am putting in - I would call myself a lax calorie counter....I do it - but I never know exactly how much...just guesstimates based on what I have eaten for the day...because I know about what is in everything I eat....how are you doing it?
My Christmas goal is only 2lbs away - 195 - I've worked hard for it and won't be surprised if those 2lbs are off by early next week...so I hope to surpass my goal...which will be fabulous...lower 190's or even getting to 189 by Christmas would be...I don't know...more than I expected/hoped for/ever thought was possible.
Good luck to everyone...stay focused, we can all do this!
