OMG how much fun is that google pedometer thingie???? someone had it listed in a thread for exercise and i clicked it and haven't stopped playing with it heheheh

My usual little walk I guesstimated to be about 1/2 a mile is really 1.2 miles! yay! hhahah it's really fun and I plotted 4 more courses to try!

and it tells you calories burned - I love it thanks to whoever posted it - so much fun!

that's it! and you keep on clickin' til you get street-level maps of your area, plot a course to walk and voila! so much fun!

now if i could figure how to bookmark my local map LOL, I keep having to go from NORTH AMERICA down to my hometown each time LOL

Ok. So I am trying to figure this stupid thing out. I put in my address and it went to my street and I couldnt get it to do anything else. HELP!!!!!

Sure Daphne! You click on your street and a little exclamation point bubble thing shows up, then you click on a destination down the street, another one shows up, and so on around corners, down streets, etc., and back home. wait a second and a blue line shows your route, and up top it tells you how far it is!

Yes, that is cool. I mapped out a 1 mile route and then a 2 mile route.

I can do the 1 mile, and I am slowly working my way to the 2 mile. Baby steps.

Thats awesome! I tracked my neighborhood that I walk around,and it's a bit over 1 mile,where I had originally thought it was just under 1 mile.Now to see how far the library is....and the park....and the...... Thanks for sharing.
