Default NSV - I bought a winter coat in a 'regular store'

The last couple years when I tried on the largest size womens 2xl in the only quality winter clothing store in town I couldnt fit... but today it snowed and I dont have a coat.

I've lost 40 pounds since the last time I tried one of these coats on I had a good two inces to lose around most of me before I could close it.

Today I tried on several winter parkas there.. and they all fit!! It made me feel so happy that I could buy myself a winter coat in town I just made my Thanksgiving goal and this was the perfect way to celebrate.

yay mini goals

yay!

Job well done. I bet it'll be nice to be warm in a nice new winter jacket this year. Everytime you put it on, remember how far you've come.

Congrats.

That's really exciting! Good for you! Getting new clothes that are smaller and look good on you makes it all worth it!

I had a similar success today and bought a fleece in a regular store selling outdoor and fitness clothing. I managed to fit into a UK18 (about a US16 I think) and boy did it feel good not to have to go to the 'fat shop'.

That's great! The feeling of going to a store and fitting into a smaller size is such a good motivator to keep up our hard work

I bet your new coat looks nice!
