Hi all,
I walked in the Race for the Cure with my Mom yesterday. It was great, she's a 16 yr. breast cancer survivor. Afterwards, we went to lunch. I said something about all we ate and she said, we didn't do too bad. Well, I've been struggling the last few days, really prob. almost a week now, creeping up on the scale.
So, I decided to get out my tracker and face the music, so I started today with my pink ribbon bagel from Panera, I got free at the race yesterday, figured it out, 8 pts. dry, I mean with nothing on it, I mean dry!
well I decided to write down everything and looked it up for yesterday (for accountability) and put it on the last page of my tracker, yipes! An eye opener for sure. For 60 minutes at a moderate pace at 177, I get 4 pts. For everything I ate (went to the movies and had popcorn, salad at lunch w/reg. dressing, kahlua and cream when I got home for a little reward) I was over 38 pts.
So, thinking I do all this exercise, I could relax on the food monitoring for a day, forget it. I've been telling myself my prob. lately is not drinking enough water, but not tracking is my real problem.
Things just have way more pts. than you think. You can't look them up after they're down the hatch, it's just not a good practice.
I think opening my tracker and my eyes is going to get me back on track.
Lots of luck everyone!!
