Default Just started

Hello, I just started the SBD yesterday and this phase 1 is harder than I thought. My goal is to lose 25 pounds and keep it off. Any advice would be great.

Sheila

It gets easier as the sugar craving go away. Days 2-4 were terrible for me, but now it's a breeze. It takes some time to plan and prepare, but it's worth it.

Welcome!

Sheila! Phase 1 isn't too bad, once you get past the first couple of days, I promise! Remember, it's only for 2 weeks, and the results are well worth it. To help you get through it, try out some of the wonderful Phase 1 recipes in our recipe board.

, Shiela

You'll feel a lot better on Phase 1 if you get in all your veggies and beans and drink your dairy.

The one thing I've done since starting SB that's really helped keep me on the program is to plan all my meals and snacks the day before... That way there's no food decisions made in a weakened state...

Sheila!

1oftheLuvs, that's a GREAT idea! Having that plan in place not only helps you avoid emotional food choices, but also reminds you that you have another meal coming so there's no need to panic. Good thinking!

Don't forget to check out the Emergency Phase 1 thread in the FAQ, Sheila...it's full of great information!

Hi Sheila, I won't offer more advice, just second what the others have said. And the first few days are the roughest, but if you can hang in there, you'll be feeling much better by the end of the first week. Good luck!
