Question low carb foods

how do you know which foods to eat on Atkins? Is there a list of do's and dont's of foods? Carb amounts?

I totally agree!!

So much has changed on the Atkins website since "Atkins Nutritionals" took over. The rules & acceptable foods list are fine but....don't pay any mind to the sample menu's...they tell you its ok to eat low carb bread, tortilla's, waffles etc. on Induction...not to mention advertising that the Atkins bars & shakes are "appropriate for Induction"

Read labels and count TOTAL carbs.

Don't eat anything that is white and starchy.

Avoid processed foods in general.

Watch carb counts on anything labelled "LOW FAT."

Drink LOTS of water.

Eat when you are hungry and until you are full.
