Default Cardio Ideas for Foot Arthritis sufferer please

Hi! I am back on the wagon after letting my weight get totally out of control. I made goal in 2004 at WW, and my primary cardio was walking and WATP tapes.

I am now heavier than I have ever been, and have developed arthritis in my feet. Walking any length of time now causes my feet to ache and swell. I have always had plantar fasciitis, as well as tarsal tunnel, so my poor feet are really wiped. Until I drop another 30 pounds I need to baby them.

Can anyone suggest some cardio workouts/exercise that I can do without damaging my feet further?

Thanks!

How about a recumbent bike? Your weight wouldn't be resting on your poor, sore feet. Or how about swimming -- do you have access to a pool?

Best of luck to you! I've got arthritis in my knees and back, so feel your pain.

If you are near a community pool many of them have water aerobic classes, I use to do that oftern and really enjoyed it.
