Default Breakup and bad eating habits.

I've been struggling lately. I lost 25lbs but slowly have been regaining it.

I broke up with my boyfriend of a year and 3 months and I slowly went back into the compulsive over eating habits. Late night snacks and everything.

I am currently dating someone knew, and he lives to dine out. And then once I get home I pig out.

How did any of you stop?

Hi ArtThatKills,

It's a hard one isn't it. I think we all struggle in our own ways but something like a break-up is huge at the moment. If you're having a really hard time you could try maintaining (rather than gaining) for a couple of weeks until things look a bit better.

I have the same problem with restaurants. I go have a nice meal, enjoy the company, don't feel deprived and then as soon as I'm alone at home I binge like crazy. I don't get it either.

Good luck to you,
